Over the weekend of October 18–19, The Palmington in Lekki transformed into a vibrant hub of wellness, beauty and good vibes as My Big Fat Pop Up hosted The Wellness & Lifestyle Weekend – our first-ever edition dedicated to wellness in all its forms.
The two-day experience brought together over 400 guests and 24 incredible African brands spanning wellness, beauty, lifestyle and food – all under one sunny roof. From inspiring panel conversations to raffles that sparked joy (and a few happy dances), the energy was high, the people were glowing and Lagos showed up beautifully.
The panel sessions – led by a lineup of phenomenal women and moderated by Valeria Ike – became one of the weekend’s biggest highlights. From finance and entrepreneurship to wellness and self-care, the conversations were raw, relatable and revolutionary.
And yes – we have to talk about the raffle. Thanks to our partners (Emzor, MY Lab Africa, Peau Saine, Storehouse Wellness and more*), guests walked away with everything from premium skincare kits to free Pilates sessions. The MBFP team made sure every moment felt engaging, seamless, and full of joy.
The Highlights
Our goal was simple: to make wellness feel real, accessible and part of everyday life. Guests stretched and centered themselves during the Restore Wellness Pilates session, got pampered at the Peau Saine VIP Glow Lounge and took home luxurious goodies courtesy of our partners at MY Lab Africa and Amari Haircare.
But the real heart of the weekend? The conversations.
Our panel sessions – expertly moderated by Valeria Ike – featured an incredible lineup of thought leaders who brought heart, humor and hard-earned wisdom to the stage.
And of course, we can’t forget the raffle.
